We often think of core strengthening as getting a 6-pack but really “core strength” starts a little deeper in your transverse abdominals…the abdominal wall UNDER your 6 pack!
Strengthening your transverse abs has a ton of benefits
• Stabilizes your back and hips
• Supports your spine
• Decreases back pain
• Improves pelvic floor function - especially postpartum
• Increase core stability = reduced risk of injury
• Improves posture
• Improves athletic performance
Start with these 3 exercises, and you can add in the Kettlebell Swing if you’re feeling super jazzy! 😉
Set a timer & do each exercise for 3-5 rounds.
CHALLENGE Complete this circuit 2-3 times/week for the next month and see if you don’t feel significant changes, not only in your workouts, but in your everyday life and movement!
